About the Program

The Uniform Commercial Real Estate Receivership Act (“UCRERA”) became effective in Connecticut on July 1, 2023. This CLE program takes a look at UCRERA almost two years after its effective date to see how it’s been used and what we have learned. The program will also provide an overview of the traditional receiver of rents and federal receiverships.

Who Should Attend

State and federal practitioners and judges who focus on the areas of commercial law, creditors’ rights, foreclosure, and bankruptcy should attend. We also invite all law students interested in these areas to join us.

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits. 

Attorneys seeking NY CLE credit who have been admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less must attend the live seminar for skills or ethics credit, a fully interactive videoconference, or simultaneous transmission with synchronous interactivity. Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias CLE credits are only available as non-transitional credits. If the seminar is recorded, all member registrants will receive complimentary access to the recording approximately six weeks after the program.
