Join Knox at Rocky Ridge, a neighborhood park by Trinity College. The main project will include planting & mulching perennials & general park clean up. Other tasks might possibly include painting & wood chipping around garden beds, to finish another project beginning on Sept 6th. Maximum capacity is 50 volunteers.

Join the CBA after your hard work at the nearby American & Mexican Diner (243 Zion St, Hartford) for complimentary appetizers provided by the CBA.

What to Know:

  • Rain or Shine. Extreme weather will cancel and anyone registered will be notified.
  • Wear comfortable layers and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Volunteers will be working outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
  • Water and light snacks will be provided.
  • Open to all, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.
  • There is no bathroom on site.
