About the Program
Hot Topics in Probate is the popular biennial seminar sponsored by the Connecticut Probate Assembly and the CBA’s Estates and Probate and Elder Law Sections. This year’s seminar, presented by probate judges, distinguished attorneys, and a medical professional will focus on professionalism, creditor claims, highly contentious cases, and a cross discipline discussion among medical and legal panelists regarding challenges facing incapacity and the provision of care.

Who Should Attend
All attorneys or members of the judiciary who work within Connecticut’s probate courts. Any practitioners whose practice includes estates and probate matters, and practitioners whose work is related to conservators or individuals under conservatorship.

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits.
Attorneys seeking NY CLE credit who have been admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less must attend the live seminar for skills or ethics credit, a fully interactive videoconference, or simultaneous transmission with synchronous interactivity. Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias CLE credits are only available as non-transitional credits.
