This presentation will provide a high-level overview of key concepts in immigration law for business lawyers, including potential immigration impacts of corporate restructurings. It will also provide practice pointers for adapting to recent developments under the Trump administration such as: preparing employers for ICE worksite raids and I-9 audits, and understanding recent changes to H-1Bs, expanded travel bans, and the recent pause in USCIS adjudication of certain immigration matters.
