Program Description

Please join us for a presentation on the proposed Connecticut Uniform Electronic Estate Planning Documents Act (CUEEPDA). The CUEEPDA Committee will review the history of the proposed act and what other states have done regarding remote signing of estate planning documents. The Committee will then walk us through the details of the legislation, feedback they have received to date, practical aspects of signing estate planning documents remotely and training that the Committee intends to provide to CT attorneys upon passage. We encourage attendees to review the act in advance of the meeting and bring questions and comments for an interactive discussion.
