Program Description

This presentation will provide an overview of the Business Services Division's new initiatives and legislative changes from the past year.

Topics will include:

  • PA 26-81: An overview of the public act and relevant changes related to trade names, e-Apostille, fraudulent filings, and notaries public.
  • E-Apostille: A demonstration of Connecticut’s new e-Apostille service which provides customers with a faster and more secure way to obtain eligible Apostilles electronically.
  • Notaries Public: A look at the office’s new complaint submission module and issues impacting notaries in the state.
