Program Description

The presentation will provide a detailed review of each section of the Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) process. Dr. Forte will discuss the purpose of each component, the assessment tools and activities used to gather information, and why each step is important for developing a thorough understanding of behavior. The discussion will also focus on how conducting a comprehensive assessment from the outset can help avoid delays in obtaining critical information and support more effective intervention planning. She will also touch upon Behavioral Intervention Plans as well.
