October 9, 2025

12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Time)

Webinar - CLE Pass Eligible

Presented by the Lawyer Well-Being Committee

About the Program

This program is designed for legal professionals seeking to mitigate the unique pressures of the field and forge a more sustainable career path. The legal profession, characterized by high stakes and constant demands, often fosters an "always on" culture that leads to stress and career dissatisfaction. This workshop offers a practical roadmap for creating and maintaining personal and professional limits to prevent overextension, protect your mental health, and enhance your overall effectiveness.

You Will Learn

  • How to define what healthy boundaries are and explain their role in reducing burnout, emotional exhaustion, and overwhelm in legal practice
  • How to identify signs of over-giving and people-pleasing behaviors that undermine professional performance and personal well-being
  • How to develop clear strategies to set and uphold boundaries with clients, colleagues, and within oneself—such as establishing response times, clarifying scope of work, and managing weekly work hours
  • How to create personalized boundaries that support mental health and self-care, including scheduling regular time for rest, leisure, and vacation
  • How to establish limits around emotional labor in professional settings by managing how much personal information is shared or received in workplace relationships
  • How to recognize the impact of over-responsibility and implement tools to shift focus back to personal values, priorities, and areas of influence
