Making Friends with OAG and OCPD: Best Practices for Amicus Briefs
Solicitor General Michael Skold and Attorney Lisa Steele will discuss practical ways for the private sector to participate, through amicus briefs, in the appellate work of the Office of Attorney General and the Office of the Chief Public Defender. They will also discuss the extent to which those offices file amicus briefs in cases between private parties.
A regular Section meeting for Section Business, including selection of Section Officers for the 2026-2027 Bar Year, will follow the discussion.
