Section Joins UConn to Present

On Thursday, February 7, the CBA's Environmental Law Section joined UConn's Center for Energy and Environmental Law for an educational presentation at the University of Connecticut School of Law. Over 30 people attended the Environmental Issues and Initiatives for 2018 Legislative Session: Three Perspectives, to listen to representatives from CT DEEP and the environmental and energy council of business advocacy group discuss their respective legislative, regulatory and enforcement priorities for the 2018 Legislative Session and the year. 

Among the attendees were M. Anne Peters, Chair of the Environmental Law Section and Joseph A. MacDougald, Executive Director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Law. The representatives included Lee Sawyer, Office of Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Clair Coleman, Connecticut Fund for the Environment and Eric Brown, Vice President of Connecticut Business and Industry Association.
