Environmental Law Section Hosts DEEP Appeals Seminar

The Environmental Law Section hosted "Taking an Appeal to the DEEP: Demystifying the Process" on Wednesday, April 24 at the Pond House Café in West Hartford.  Attendees learned the inner workings of the DEEP appeals process from the panelists: Janice B. Deshais, director of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Office of Adjudications; Timothy S. Hollister of Shipman & Goodwin LLP; and Christopher Marchesi, president of Triton Environmental Inc. The panel, moderated by Holly Winger of Brenner Saltzman & Wallman LLP, explained the appeals process and how to effectively present points in a way most likely to lead to a favorable ruling.
