On May 21, members of the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA)'s Young Lawyers Section (YLS), along with law students, family members, and friends, gathered at the New Britain Museum of American Art for The Art of Connection: YLS Scavenger Social.

The event served as an opportunity to celebrate a successful year for the Young Lawyers Section while also recognizing the contributions of its members throughout the Connecticut Bar Association’s history. Pictures of influential past YLS chairs ranging from the section’s founding in 1947 to today were on display at the event. Attendees enjoyed an evening of networking, reflection, and camaraderie in the museum’s inspiring setting and participated in a museum-wide scavenger hunt. The interactive activity provided a fun and engaging way for attendees to build relationships while enjoying one of Connecticut’s premier cultural institutions.

"The Young Lawyers Section is built on the connections we make with one another, and this event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate those relationships while reflecting on a successful year," said YLS Chair Paige M. Vaillancourt. "As the Connecticut Bar Association closes out its 150th anniversary, it was especially meaningful to gather together to recognize the contributions of young lawyers through the years and look ahead to the future of our profession together."
