Pursuant to D. Conn. Local Bankr. R.  9083-6, the Connecticut Bar Association’s Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section has formed a panel of volunteer attorneys to represent needy and qualified individuals or married spouses pro bono in Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, contested matters and adversary proceedings.

 

For Attorneys

Attorneys who wish to participate in this pro bono program as a member of the panel can find more information and fill out an application form through the link below. Note that attorneys  designate whether they are willing to represent needy and qualified individuals in chapter 7 (a) bankruptcy cases, (b) contested matters, and adversary proceedings; OR (c) bankruptcy cases, contested matters and adversary proceedings and designate which seats of the bankruptcy court (Hartford, New Haven, and/or Bridgeport) they are willing to assist individuals in.
