Meriden – The Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) is pleased to announce a new member benefit designed specifically to meet the needs of solo practitioners: the CBA Solo and Individual Health Insurance.
Developed exclusively for individual CBA members, including solo practitioners, the program provides access to affordable, comprehensive health insurance coverage through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), helping address the significant challenge of obtaining quality health insurance at a reasonable cost.
The plan is available to CBA members who are solo practitioners, law students, who share office space, or are at firms with one to two attorneys. Members can choose from seven coverage options designed to accommodate a variety of healthcare needs and budgets.
The CBA Solo and Individual Health Insurance offers guaranteed issue coverage with no medical underwriting or health questions required. Enrollment is available year-round, opening on the first of each month, with coverage beginning on the first day of the following month after premium payment. Rates have been negotiated specifically for Connecticut attorneys, and the enrollment process is straightforward, with no lengthy applications or waiting periods.
