Attorney Ryan Downing
Attorney Ryan Downing is the treasurer of the CBA LGBT Section and works with his colleagues to organize interesting and informative events related to LGBTQ+ issues. He is also a member of the CBA Litigation, Labor & Employment Law, and Young Lawyers Sections as well as the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Downing traveled to and taught English in various countries in Asia, with most of his time spent in South Korea. He served as a judicial law clerk for the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court from 2017 through 2018. As a judicial law clerk, he assisted judges in analyzing and resolving issues arising out of civil and criminal cases. Attorney Downing is an associate at Reid and Riege PC, and his practice is focused on employment and labor disputes and commercial litigation.
