Over the years, Attorney Caron has held several roles within the Connecticut Bar Association, serving on the Real Property Section Executive Committee from 1985-2019 and on the Special Committee on Standards of Title from 1985-2024, of which he was chairman from 2004-2016. During his time on the Special Committee on Standards of Title, he led efforts to continuously update and expand the published Connecticut Standards of Title as the preeminent state-based standards of title in the United States, being the principial draftsman of five new chapters to these standards. In addition to his CBA roles, Attorney Caron also served as President of the Connecticut Title Association from 1991-1993 and a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers from 1999-2016.
