Purchase a Listing in the Vendor Directory
Reach more than 9,000 affluent and educated legal professionals in the CBA’s Vendor Directory. For $359 per year (that’s less than a dollar a day), you can showcase your company’s services to CBA members in Connecticut and beyond. A listing in the Vendor Directory includes your company contact information, Web site and social media accounts, and a 100-word company profile. For an extra $25, you can upload your logo as well.

Special CBA-Vendor Status Program
The CBA works to develop solid relationships with local and national vendors whose products and services can assist Association members daily in their practice of law. The CBA asks such companies for support to the organization, so that it can continue to successfully deliver superior member service and ultimate member benefits, including vendor-provided discounts and benefits, to legal professionals throughout the state.
CBA staff will solicit and review proposals from a variety of advertisers and vendors. Staff will recommend these relationships for approval by the Membership Committee. Relationships approved by the Committee will be placed on a consent agenda of the next following Board of Governors meeting.
Advertiser and vendor relationships are categorized as such:
Vendors offering simple discount programs without a significant royalty structure for the bar. Staff will approve these discounts, and the CBA Membership Committee will be informed when a new vendor in this category is added to the list of member benefits. Members will be informed of such discounts to the extent determined appropriate by the staff.
Vendors offering discounts to CBA members along with a signed commitment to support the organization through advertising, sponsorships, exhibitorship, and/or royalty programs ranging from $10,000 to $20,000. Proposals from such companies will be recommended by staff to the CBA Membership Committee for approval. Members will learn of such discounts through a listing on the Member Benefits page of the Web site and on any marketing piece that promotes all member benefits, highlights in the association’s Weekly Update e-newsletter, a homepage graphic promoting member benefits, and advertising of member benefits in Connecticut Lawyer magazine with recognition of status. Elite Providers must agree to a commitment of three or more ads in one or more of the CBA’s publications.
Preferred Elite Providers
These vendors commit, via signed agreement, to an annual support of more than $20,000 through sponsorship, exhibitorship, advertising, and/or a royalty program. Preferred Elite providers will be recommended by staff to the CBA Membership Committee for approval. Members will learn of such benefits through a listing on the Member Benefits page of the Web site and on any marketing piece that promotes all member benefits, highlights in the association’s Weekly Update e-newsletter, homepage graphics promoting member benefits, advertising of member benefits in Connecticut Lawyer magazine with recognition of status, and recognition at the Annual Meeting. Preferred Elite providers will also receive a one-time use address list of the entire CBA membership. Preferred Elite providers must agree to a commitment of seven ads in one or more of the CBA’s publications.
There is room for exclusive relationships, as well, with Elite and Preferred Elite Providers. These will be handled on a case-by-case basis by review and approval from appropriate staff and the Membership Committee.
With all categories, the CBA must approve in advance all communications that any provider uses in any way to describe its relationship with the CBA. The CBA reserves the right to refuse agreements from any advertiser or vendor for any or no reason.
Recurrent advertisers/vendors understand that status may change as monetary contributions to the CBA alter.
