Archives of Connecticut Lawyer magazine (since its first issue in 1990) and the Connecticut Bar Journal (since its first issue in 1927) are available from HeinOnline. You can easily search keywords, authors, and titles in individual publications or across both. Member Login Required.

The CBA has enhanced your CLE experience with video production of select in-house CLE seminars. You can purchase an on-demand CLE and watch it through any browser, on any platform, wherever and whenever is convenient for you, as many times as you wish. These on-demand seminars still allow the CBA to offer New York CLE credit certificates and Connecticut letters of attendance for these programs.

The CBA has substantial resources to help members meet their MCLE requirements including up to a 50 percent discount on in-person and on-demand CLE courses, complimentary on-demand audio CLE archive, and a CLE Credit Tracker.

The Connecticut Bar Journal is a scholarly periodical that features articles on a variety of legal topics. Published quarterly under the direction of a board of editors, the journal is also free to all members and is available on a subscription basis to non-members.

CT Lawyer magazine is an exclusive member benefit free to all members that contributes to lawyers' professional growth; informs readers of important legislative changes, court decisions, and other issues arising in the legal profession; and keeps members abreast of CBA activities. An online edition of the magazine as well as an electronic archive of back issues are available.

Find a Lawyer CT is a publicly searchable online directory of all CBA attorney members. This valuable self-search tool is a quick and easy way for the general public to tap in to our network of attorneys and learn about the members of this association who may be of help to them.

The Program provides lawyers and clients with an opportunity to resolve or attempt to resolve disputes over legal fees through mediation arbitration, or both. The program is a free community service, confidential, and impartial. Participants do not need to have a lawyer to use the program.

Lawyer-to-Lawyer Dispute Resolution is a voluntary, confidential program designed to help attorneys resolve disputes including but not limited to law firm dissolution, withdrawal of a partner or shareholder from the firm, and allocation of fee between lawyers in different firms.

A list of CBA attorney members who can provide legal research and writing services for a negotiated rate is available. The list provides a way for lawyers to gain valuable experience and compensation for helping other lawyers with legal research and/or writing projects.  The mix of new lawyers and experienced lawyers is a perfect incubator for mentoring, reverse mentoring, networking, and growing a practice.
