About the Program

Many insurance companies provide “infertility” coverage when it comes to starting a family. However, based on the definition of “infertile”, queer couples do not qualify as the individual members are usually medically fertile on their own. This has been a major topic over the last year or two, including a recent class action filed against Aetna.

About recent bills propose before the legislature, and the continued push for fertility equality in Connecticut
