About the Program
Connecticut maintains a transgender-inclusive student athletics policy that has been challenged at the Second Circuit and is on remand at the District Court. The Plaintiffs believe that this inclusive policy discriminates against cisgender girls in violation of Title IX. What are considerations in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for transgender athletes as well as for cisgender girls?
