Pearls and Perils in the Trajectory of Dementia Care

Program Description

Dr. Morgan will review diagnostic issues of cognitive and mental disorders and the expected evolution of symptoms which impact capacity. The evaluation of capacity will be reviewed separately with special focus on its relationship to testamentary issues, functional issues such as driving, and overall estate planning. Finally, a review of risk issues in psycho-pharmacologic treatment will be presented with an eye especially to the issues of risk factors for such treatment.
