Program Description

Assistant Director Antanaitis will present:

  • A year-end review of securities law enforcement by the CT Department of Banking
  • Trends in securities enforcement and regulation that the Department of Banking is monitoring and anticipates becoming more important issues in coming years
  • An overview of the recent settlement with BlockFi, a crypto lending platform which has been the subject of federal and state enforcement actions (https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/DOB/Enforcement/Securities/2022-SBID/BlockFi-Lending-Consent-Order.pdf)
  • An overview of key topics with respect to state "blue sky" laws
