About the Program

Join the Young Lawyers Section, Business Law Section, and Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section for an exciting evening of networking and a riveting analysis and discussion of a seven-year study of Connecticut Chapter 11 cases. Networking will begin at 6:00 p.m. accompanied by a cash bar (beer and wine), followed by a flavorful Mediterranean buffet dinner and a thought provoking 1.5-hour CLE program.
 
A distinguished panel including business and bankruptcy practitioners and a law professor will discuss the findings of a seven-year study of Connecticut Chapter 11 cases. They will identify trends to re-examine traditional approaches to counseling clients in anticipation of an increase in distressed businesses in the coming years coupled with a generational change in the turnaround bar. Join us for this exciting opportunity to network with Connecticut bankruptcy judges and staff, experienced business, commercial, and bankruptcy law professionals, young lawyers, and law students.
