Don’t miss the 2023 Workers’ Compensation Retreat in Nashville, TN, which will feature a presentation by Dr. Ghaly on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, pain management and returning to life. You will also hear from Chief Administrative Law Judge Morelli, Administrative Law Judge Mlynarczyk, Jeremy Brown, Mark Doherty, and Lynn Demauro on the following topics: forms, fees, and legislation, what CMS expects, full and final settlements, structures, and ethics.

• About Complex Regional Pain Syndrome from diagnosis to long term care
• About pain management options and the return to work and daily life for those with chronic pain
• What CMS expects from workers’ compensation practitioners with respect to Medicare Set-Aside submissions and approvals
• About preliminary psychiatric forms, proposed legislation affecting workers’ compensation in Connecticut, and issues relating to attorney’s fees and costs
• About issues relating to settlement of a workers’ compensation claim
• When a structure is appropriate in settling a workers’ compensation claim, what it is, and how it is calculated
• About an attorney’s ethical obligations
