About the Program

This seminar will delve into the critical and evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on data privacy, digital safety, and cybersecurity. Attorneys are legally and ethically responsible for maintaining client information, so it is not accessed by unauthorized individuals. As AI becomes increasingly integrated into our daily lives, from virtual assistants to sophisticated decision-making systems, maintaining data privacy and security is crucial. This program will equip participants with knowledge and practical tools to understand how AI may be used while ensuring data privacy and security from cyber intrusions.

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits. 

Attorneys seeking NY CLE credit who have been admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less must attend the live seminar for skills or ethics credit, a fully interactive videoconference, or simultaneous transmission with synchronous interactivity. Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias CLE credits are only available as non-transitional credits. If the seminar is recorded, all member registrants will receive complimentary access to the recording approximately six weeks after the program.
