About the Program
The Trial Skills Institute will provide participants with the opportunity to develop and hone their civil trial skills. Law students and newer attorneys will benefit from the 5 hours of experiential voir dire, opening, direct, cross, and closing experiential sessions and feedback from experienced trial lawyers and judges. More experienced attorneys will likewise benefit from the seminars, experiential sessions and feedback.
Participants will receive an SD card with the recording of their experiential sessions and feedback.
Register early, as space is limited, and you will need to devote 20+ hours to prepare.
You Will Learn
• About becoming a successful trial lawyer
• About exhibits, objections, and building a record
• About and hone your skills regarding voir dire, opening statements, direct examination, cross examination, and closing statements

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits.
Attorneys seeking NY CLE credit who have been admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less must attend the live seminar for skills or ethics credit, a fully interactive videoconference, or simultaneous transmission with synchronous interactivity. Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias CLE credits are only available as non-transitional credits.
