About the Program

This program will discuss the multifaceted legal implications of generative AI. The program will delve into intellectual property considerations stemming from use of generative AI, including authorship and inventorship under the Copyright and Patent Acts, as well as what constitutes derivative works and infringement. The program will also discuss the complex discovery and evidentiary issues presented by generative AI, including the risks associated with deep fakes, authentication of evidence, and the corresponding impact on litigants.

  • About the discovery and evidentiary implications of generative AI, including issues relating to authentication, deep fakes, and the burden imposed on litigants as they navigate these issues
