Paralegal Time Management: How to Survive When Everything Is Due Today

Program Description:

When you work in the legal field, it often feels like everything is urgent and everything is due at the same time. This session is designed for paralegals who are tired of operating in constant crisis mode and want practical, realistic systems that actually work in a busy firm environment. You will learn how to prioritize competing deadlines, track tasks in a way that prevents things from slipping through the cracks, manage an overwhelming inbox, and create structure in both litigation and transactional workflows. If you are juggling multiple attorneys, nonstop emails, court deadlines, and client demands, this program will help you regain control of your day instead of feeling controlled by it.

Speaker Bio:

Linda McGrath-Cruz has over 28 years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal, specializing in products/premises liability, wrongful death, and medical malpractice defense. A Florida Registered Paralegal and NALA Advanced Certified Paralegal (specializing in discovery, eDiscovery, trial practice, social security, and entity medical liability), Linda holds two paralegal certificates, a Bachelor's in Paralegal Studies from Barry University, and a Master's in Paralegal Studies from National Juris University. In 2024, Linda transitioned from the day-to-day paralegal work to become the Program Coordinator and Lead Faculty for the new Paralegal Program at St. Johns River State College in Florida. She is also the founder of Perfectly Paralegal, a thriving community that offers resources, mentorship, an annual paralegal cruise, and much more to paralegals and legal professionals at all stages of their careers.
