The CBA Young Lawyers Section is excited to participate in a build for Habitat for Humanity Greater New Haven on May 16, 2026. Join us for a rewarding build day, where you can make a real difference in our local community, while connecting with fellow young lawyers. By volunteering to assist in building a home, you are supporting Habitat's mission to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing here in our community.

This event is limited to 10 volunteers – register today to secure your spot!

Free Event

Space is limited to 10 participants. Due to the limited capacity and reliance on volunteers, please only register if you are able to attend. A "wait list" will be enabled once registration is full.

Important

In addition to registering through the CBA website, participants must also complete Habitat’s separate volunteer registration (link below). Wait list attendees will not need to register with Habitat unless a spot becomes available to participate.

Habitat for Humanity | Additional Required Step

All participating volunteers must also register directly with Habitat for Humanity and complete a volunteer profile:

  • Please go to habitatgnh.org and click the VolunteerUp link at the bottom of the page.
  • New volunteers will need to select CT Bar Association Young Lawyers Section as the group in their volunteer profile prior to signing up for the build day.
  • Returning volunteers can access VolunteerUp with their username and password.

Waiver Requirement

All participants must complete a waiver form and bring it with them on the day of the event. Waivers cannot be submitted in advance.

Optional T-Shirt

Volunteers may purchase a Habitat for Humanity T-Shirt. Click here for details
