About the Program
This CLE is a primer for attorneys new to federal civil litigation. It provides an overview of issues that arise from the initiation of a lawsuit to its conclusion. You will learn how to address issues such as jurisdiction, venue, and pleading standards. You will also learn about the application of local and federal rules in conducting discovery motion practice, trials, and appeals.
