About the Program

Don't miss this premier event for the estate planning and tax communities. The day will kick-off with a networking breakfast followed by both plenary and break-out sessions. For the first time, we will be presenting in a three-track format—business tax and planning, estate tax and planning, and the new Connecticut Uniform Trust Code (UTC). National speakers will present on cutting-edge tax and estate planning issues, including tax implications and concerns under the UTC as well as drafting trusts under the UTC. Register early as space is limited for this event.

You Will Learn

  • About Connecticut's new Uniform Trust Code, including tax implications and concerns
  • About tax issues affecting startup ventures and early stage companies
  • About real estate tax planning
  • About the significance of the Kaestner Trust decision and its impact on state income taxation of trusts
  • Perspectives on domestic asset protection trusts, including self-settled Connecticut asset protection trusts
  • About qualified small business stock
  • About diversity and inclusion in the legal profession
