The speakers have extensive experience in providing and training others to provide restorative practices, research on the impact of restorative justice, and policy development.
Program Description
Attendees will gain an understanding of what restorative justice and restorative practices are (and are not) and the impact of such practices for improving outcomes for children and youth as well as for their communities. Attendees will also learn about current restorative programs in Connecticut schools and for incarcerated juveniles. Attorneys who represent children and youth will learn how these practices can benefit their clients, while ADR practitioners will learn another aspect of ADR practice.
