Erick A. Russell co-chairs Connecticut Cares, a fundraiser for Lambda Legal, the oldest and largest national legal organization. Their mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of the LGBT community through impact litigation, education, and public policy work.
Attorney Russell is an associate in Pullman & Comley LLC’s government finance department. He represents state agencies, municipalities, underwriters, banks, and trustees in tax-exempt, and taxable bond financing transactions. Attorney Russell is a member of the CBA Young Lawyers Section and has served as a past chair of the CBA LGBT Section, where he currently serves on its executive committee. Additionally, he has served as director of the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association. He was also recently named to the American Bar Association’s 2020 "On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers" Award program.
At the CBA, he is involved with the LGBT Executive Committee and the Young Lawyers Section.
