Michelle Querijero is an assistant vice president in Allied World Insurance Company’s errors and omissions claims team. In that capacity, she handles complex managed care errors and omissions and health care directors and officers matters nationwide as well as errors and omission matters in the insurance, lawyers, and architects & engineers lines of business. In the last several years, attorney Querijero has handled numerous False Claims Act, antitrust and benefits denial/wrongful death matters and is the team’s specialist in opioid litigation for managed care entities. Prior to joining Allied World, she was a civil litigator in private practice in Hartford. In her prior career, she served as an aerospace engineer at numerous civilian and defense agencies within the federal government, as well as major enterprise networking companies.
Attorney Querijero serves as the CBA’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Education Subcommittee co-chair, where she is responsible for organizing DEI panels throughout the year and assists with the Constance Baker Motley Speaker Series. She has been a board member or officer with the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association (CAPABA) since 2015 and is currently serving as CAPABA’s Vice President of Operations. In her spare time, she is an avid tang soo do instructor and practitioner, having earned her fourth-degree master belt in 2019 after 14 years of study.
