    Webinar - CLE Pass Eligible
1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time)

The only thing more stressful than having a matter in criminal court is having a matter in family court. When these two worlds collide, the stress is unbelievable. In this one-hour webinar, we will hear from two experienced attorneys and a judge who has presided over family, criminal, and juvenile matters. They will tell us some things they wish people in one court knew about the other, some things they learned the hard way, some practice pointers, and some suggestions for lowering the temperature of a volatile, distressing situation. We will hear about pretrial diversionary programs in criminal court, third party texting apps in family court, recommendations about treatment, navigating potentially conflicting court orders, and what is worth disputing and when. We will also explore different strategies that aid in deescalating the parties and proceeding to resolution.
