On Monday, December 5, the Young Lawyers Section (YLS) held their annual holiday party, which took the form of an ugly sweater holiday bash at Stony Creek Brewery in Branford. A total of $1,500 collected from the event was donated to the Women’s Center in Bloomfield, which provides compassionate abortion care and reproductive health services.
“The YLS Holiday Party is an annual event allowing YLS members to have fun, network, and promote our public service/pro bono objectives,” stated YLS Chair Christopher Klepps. “This year, we are pleased to have raised $1,500 to the Women’s Center in Bloomfield. Huge thank you to Vianca Malick, Jermaine Brookshire, Mike Curley, Virginia Gillette, and Kevin Brignole for organizing such a great event.”
