CBA President Daniel J. Horgan presented a check for $10,138 to Special Olympics Connecticut on May 17. The funds were raised by the association and its members as part of President Horgan’s Collaboration for a Cause presidential initiative. Matthew Necci, a CBA member who serves as chairman of the Special Olympics Connecticut Board of Directors, accepted the check on behalf of the organization.

“I am proud that we are able to provide this financial donation in support of Special Olympics Connecticut,” stated President Horgan. “It is important for the bar association to develop relationships with other organizations throughout our state and to work together with them for the benefit of the communities and residents of Connecticut. The strength of our association lies in our ability to connect, support, and collaborate with a diverse range of people and institutions.”
