8:00 AM to 12:30 PM (Eastern Daylight Time)

The topic of the conference is how the deterioration of civility and civics education is eroding the rule of law in all segments of our society. The rule of law remains under attack and those attacks are arguably increasing. The attacks come from all angles—some direct and some more subtle. A lack of faith in our educational system, media, political leaders, and courts all represent attacks on the rule of law. The CBA’s 2023 Rule of Law Conference gathers members of the media, government, education and business sectors to discuss the growing concerns surrounding politics, media reporting, education and attacks on the judiciary that all undermine the principles of the rule of law.
