This time, Joshua Goodbaum and Cindy Cieslak will join the panel for a round table discussion of employment issues on employers’ and employees’ minds as workplaces reopen. The panel will discuss risk factors as employers re-open, maintaining a safe workplace, compliance with Connecticut’s COVID-19 safe workplace rules, questions employees may have as they try to adjust to a rapidly changing workplace, and much more. Following the screening, a panel discussion will examine our nation’s history of racial scapegoating; the consequences when alternative facts are substituted for evidence and scientifically supported data; the role of the media; and how we, as a country, can stand together to simultaneously defeat COVID-19 and preserve democracy.
